One of my bosses asked me before I left today if I’d used Word Press before. I have a blog, yes, but it is hosted at Blogger. He left it at that.
To be honest, my blog www.thedailydoseoffabulous.blogspot.com is old. I started it two years so with the intention of posting something I thought was cool, unique, fun – fabulous – every day. Shortly it became a regular ole blog, the heres and nows of my life. The name has always bothered me though and I wanted to change it a while back to Where The Blacktop Ends but wasn’t able to change the url. So, I’ve pretty much abandoned it since I graduated from college. Over a year ago. I wrote bits here and there, but it didn’t really fit me anymore. I am more or less writing to have a history of what I’ve done. I’ve tried journals and the like and while I always think it’s a great idea when I begin that too falls flat. I am hoping that with a new name I’ll rekindle my love of writing and at the very least have a nifty little place to post my thoughts and stories.
In the meantime, I will still keep my “old” blog alive just so I can keep what I’ve written, but am going to try to be consistent here. I love reading other people’s blogs, I read many, and think it is incredibly cool that people actually want to comment so am hoping to be able to write enough worthwhile material to get a few readers over here. Coud be exciting!
I will do a sort of introduction later in the week. Maybe. Maybe it would be best to just take off running and fill things in along the way. Yes, that’s what I will do.
